Louise has also attended trainings with:
Karin Locher - Centre for Spatial Medicine
Katy discovered Pilates whilst training as a contemporary dancer and fell in love with the springs; how they support and challenge your body simultaneously. Her studio practice brought balance and strength to her body and kept her injury free.
After completing her three-year equipment and mat apprenticeship with Pilates Foundation creator Trevor Blount, she taught in his busy London studio from 2008 to 2016. Relocating to Sussex in 2012, she shares a studio with Bex Gould in Hurstpierpoint and taught for six years at Brighton Pilates Studio.
Katy is inspired by the huge range of Pilates exercises and the versatility of the equipment; how both can be adapted to each client’s needs and goals. She enjoys teaching young and old, people who use Pilates to facilitate sports performance and helping people in pain. Her teaching is characterised by clarity, attention to detail and a relaxed atmosphere.
